Visa write user abort

Hello.
I'm using VISA blocks to comunicate through serial port. I'experiencing issue with VISA Write block. It occasionally (say one time for 30 calls) returns error about user abort occuring (-1073807312).
Then it sends incomplete data (ussually without last termination character) to port, which makes much trouble.
I saw this topic raised few times on this forum, but ussually about visa read. I didn't find any solutione there so I dare to ask on my own 🙂

Do you have a direct serial port connection, or are you using some sort of USB<-->Serial box? How fast is your serial connection? Is it possible the instrument is off in la-la land? How fast are you sending the commands (not the speed of the connection, but are you sending the commands once a second, once every 100 msec)? Have you tried slowing it down?
