Visa resource name cannot load existing ports available

hello,

i was trying to connect serial port to labview , but the VISA resource name cannot load the existing ports and even if i enter the COM4 port in it , the .vi cannot load saying an error of hardware driver not installed?

please suggest me a solution?.

Do you actually have NI-VISA installed? You should be able to check this in MAX.
