VISA Device Driver Wizard Issue ?

Hello,

I'm having an issue with being able to access a 3rd party PCI device via MAX.
The device appears in MAX , however there is a yellow circle across it with an exclamation point.

I used the NI VISA Device Driver Wizard to create & install the necessary INF file for this device and
I can see from the Windows Device Manager that it was recognized and is working properly.

My PC is a Dell - Core 2 Quad (2.4Ghz) running MS Windows XP Pro Version 2002, Service Pack 2
and I am using NI VISA 4.4.1.

With a PCI bus analyzer I can see the card being accessed (Config Read/Write)
during boot-up and everything appears to be normal.

With NI-Spy running I get the following when MAX is launched:

> 369. viOpen (0x026AD7F8, "PXI9::4::INSTR", 4, 0, 0x00000000)
> Process ID: 0x000007A0 Thread ID: 0x000012F8
> Start Time: 09:56:27.224 Call Duration 00:00:00.000
> Status: 0xBFFF0000 (VI_ERROR_SYSTEM_ERROR)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Regards, Bill
