USB GPIB Adapter

I have a GPIB-USB adapter that I purchased by Agilent.

I used PCI-GPIB cards in the past. Now, having a USB-GPIB adapter I connected the analyzer to the computer. The connection was ok, but when I use my HP-BASIC program the program did not connect to it. Is there anything different in the programming?

Can somebody answer me how to write the code for USB-GPIB connection to HP-BASIC. I was not able to see anything in the code where you change settings.

Why are you asking about an Agilent GPIB-USB adapter here on a National Instruments message board? 

You should try contacting Agilent's tech support. They are actually very good about answering email inquiries.

Hi,

if you plan to make some programs that works on both Agilent and NI USB
controllers, this may have a sense to be here, either with VISA or with
LabTab (www.LabTab.com).

Normally, VISA being compatible across manufacturers, this is not so
irrelevent to ask.

Though not the most direct way ...
