Redistributing VISA Library

Is it allowed for us to redistribute the latest NI-VISA Library to end-users in our product CD-ROMs?

We have some T&M app software products that make use of NI-VISA 2.5+ library for controlling GPIB and/or Serial. But end-users offten claim that it is too large to download and would feel happier if our product CD-ROM included a copy of NI-VISA. I would like to know if we can redistribute NI-VISA with our product CD-ROMs.

Dear Makoto,

Generally, NI-VISA is only provided with NI hardware or software and we make it available on our website for our customers' convenience for upgrading existing, legally licensed copies of NI-VISA. With this in mind, I would be happy to discuss with you your specific situation and come to an agreement for you to include NI-VISA on your CD. Please contact me to discuss further.
