Read buffer

Hi,

I'm trying to opreate MDrive motor. I have this simple code that allow me to send command to the motor.

for example, if I send 'FD' I get to respond of the motor in the read buffer after some time of about 2 second.

My problem is that when i sent commad like: "PR V" which ask the motor what is the speed he doesn't respone.

any ideas?

somthing else, for i need the visa close and visa open?

Hi

visa open and close only need to be done on starting the program and ending once.
except when you want to leave the ioport to another program as mucch as possible.

should you not add a question mark or soemthing and do you need endcharacters like cr or lf?

and you always can try the "famous" hyperterminal to try without labview.
