I am controlling an HP33120A with my AT-GPIB board from Natl Inst.
When I try to determine the current output frequency, I use (something like)
the following commands:
IBWRT(FG%,"FREQ?")
IBRD(FG%,RESP$)
The value of RESP$ does not contain the magnitude of the actual frequency.
For example, if I am generating a 1000 hz sine, RESP$ wil display something
like 1.0000000 (It does not give me the E+03 part).
Anybody know what I am doing wrong?
