Hello,
My name is Boualem TAFATI and I am working for Hilti in Liechtenstein as an intern.
The project concerns the upgrade with LabView 7.1 of a test equipment machine (which was running with HP until today), and we would like to change in the same time the necessary hardware to make the same and some new feasible running tests.
As I am not a specialist in automation and electronics, I need your help to lead this project step by step.
We have at the moment an available DAQ card NI-6052E, LabView 7.1 and MAX, and a PCI-GPIB card. So the task I am focussing on currently is the signal conditioning (choice of a SCXI and modules, PCI-GPIB card 488.2).
For information, we have to acquire/analyze/present data, and/or control equpments for:
- 2 quartz force transducers connected each with a charge amplifier Kistler Type 5011 (output voltage +/-10V);
- 1 incremental linear encoder LIDA 201 connected with an adaptor EXE 6190 B (output voltage between 1.4 and 4 V or 0.4 and 1.7 V and an operating voltage 5 volts +-5% / 120 mA);
- A steering card for 5-phases stepper motor (Berger Lahr) is attached to a stepper motor for steering the friction force. The steering card outputs a voltage between 20 and 30 volts (D650.00/D650.50 or D650.01/D650.51) or between 2.5 and 5.25 volts.
- A control amplifier (Bosch Hydraulik) for pressure control or combined volumetric-flow pressure function (slave card with settable controller parameters D 830 303 749) is attached to valves for controlling the pressure regulation. The slave card for valve amplifiers outputs a voltage between 0 and 10 volts, (or 1 and 3.6 V).
So could you help me to for the following tasks?
How to choose the equipment I should get : SCXI four slots with which modules?, the NI-6052E that we already have is probably enough for this application, we have a PCI-GPIB card 488.2 as well...
And what kind of parameters do I have to care for the hardware choice and implementation?
What is the methodology to implement this kind of project according to LabView?
Note: The speed of the stepper motor for the test is 1mm/s
PS: I can speak english a bit, however isn't it better to deal by mail?
Thanks in advance for your time and your precious help
Best regards
Boualem
