Problem with SIGLENT SDS1072 CML Scope under Windows 10 - NI-Visa Driver - EasyScopeX

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, I'm new to this community. I went here hoping to get help in connecting a SIGLENT SDS1072CML Scope via USB to WIndows 10, not to dare that I could make it work under macOS.

I installed the NI-VISA 5.4.1 driver package (as this is mentioned as a prerequisite to run EasyscopeX).

Whatever I do,  I cannot come across this picture:

Die application (EasyScopeX)  doesn't find the device.

That image is the Windows Device Manager, not NI Max. NIVISA does not work on that level so there must be some other device driver installation from Sigilent that you haven’t yet done.

Thanks. I solved it. I had to set the rear USB output to USBTMC (Test and Measurement Controller) which then appears further down in the list of USB Devices:

Problem solved.
