PCI-GPIB Not detected under Solaris

Got a National Inst. PCI-GPIB bd and in an Ultra 5 it under Solaris 5.6 will not be detected and the /dev/gpib files are not created. ANy Ideas on what causes this ?

I would suggest starting with the user manual for the PCI-GPIB for Solaris.

If you have already started with that, how far are you making it through the installation/verification process and what version of the driver are you trying to install.

If driver fails to attach, first try is reseat. 

Check prtconf -D to see if board is detected by PCI bus.  You should see something like this:

...

pci1093,c801 (driver name: ib)
NATI,pci-gpib, instance #0 (driver name: ib)

...
