PCI GPIB Installation

Dear Customer Support,
I just moved my PCI GPIB card from one computer to an upgraded one and followed all the steps I already did for the previos installation.
All my drivers are updated to the last version and after the installation everything appear to work, but I am unable to comunicate to my oscilloscope. I used the same oscilloscope and LabView program with the previos computer and it worked perfectly bu now it won't recive nor transmit data.
I tryied to change oscilloscope and in the Mesurement & Automation Explorer the change was shown when a search for a new hardwere was performed. All the self testing and inspection programs show that the card works but when I try to comunicate with the machine with the direct console it will not work telling me to install a PCI GPIB+ interface which I have already done 2 times.
Do any one of you know what could be the source of the problem?
Sincerely,
Federico.

If you are receiving an error indicating that you need a PCI-GPIB+, then you are probably trying to open the GPIB Analyzer, which is used for troubleshooting actual GPIB signals, and is not a method of controlling your device.

As far as the communication problem you are seeing, which versions of NI-488.2 are you using, on both the old and new computer?  Which operating sysystems are they running?  Some instruments do not properly implement the IEEE-488.1 specification, so the minor timing changes between driver versions can cause the instruments to misbehave.

I have installed the newest drivers I could find, the 488.2 version. I have written two programs (one of which used to work on the old computer) for two different oscilloscopes, the TDS 620 and the TDS 2014 and both give me the same error once they reach the initialization phase:

Error -1073807202 occurred at (Old) VISA Open in
TKTDS(4XX/1K2K) Initialize.vi -> save wavefirm
(mod/TDS2014).vi.

This error code is unidentified. No one has provided
a description for this code, or you might have
wired a number that is not an error code to the
error code input.

I don't know what does that means but I don't really know what to do anymore.

P.S.: my operative system is WinXP Professional and tha computer is a one year old Dell with a 3.0 GHz processor.

That error code actually does have a description but the description is not provided unless you install VISA and you get this error if you don't have VISA installed. So, just install VISA and that error should go away.
