NI-VISA not working on Linux Mint

To add a little context, I'm trying to control A PSU which connects using ethernet, and another PSU which has GPIB (using a GPIB to USB Connector). I have this working on Windows 10, but am struggling to find a solution for it to work in Linux Mint 20.3

I've installed the driver through NI's website, and used the Ubuntu2004firstlook-2022Q1 install and installed the NI-488.2 and NI-VISA packages.

Not only is it not showing up the device I want, but it has a lot of these devices that don't exist.

And it's clear that my OS can see the device plugged in by running lsusb

The NI-VISA driver wizard also seems to have USB greyed out.

Would love and appreciate the help for anyone, especially those who have got this working with mint.
