Alright so I got a 14-slot chassis with 4 different type of cards (including the PXI-6682)
Now when I got this chassis booted and my PC connected to it....everything installed properly....except the PXI-6682
My computer couldn't find it automaticaly...so what I did was point it to the 3.1 NI-Sync installation folder that I downloaded from NI's website.
That worked and MAX could finaly see it (Even thouygh on device manager the driver's name is "NI PXI-6682" instead of the mroe casual driver name "PXI-6682".
Anyhow I do some tests, close my computer and reopen it the next day (along with the chassis) and notice that on max I get this error when I self-test:
Error -88705 which means not present or not active...
So the only way I can get my card to start properly on MAX is to uninstall the driver, reinstall it, reboot my PC....
It gets annoying after the fourth day of doing that...also I have some bugs in my proghrams related to this card and I wonder if it mgiht be partly because of the faulty driver.
Thanks,
Seb

Hello Seb,
A few questions to help us get to the bottom of this:
What chassis are you using?
What slot do you have the 6682 in?
What versions of NI-VISA and NI-Sync are you using?

Chassis: PXI-1044
NI-VISA: 4.5.1
NI-Sync: 3.1 (we just recently downgraded to NI-Sync 3.0....but the incident mostly happened using the driver provided by 3.1)
Today I rebooted with 3.0 and nothing seems to bug...although I SAW it bug sometime...just not EVERYTIME like 3.1.
Thank you in advance,
Seb
