WinXP device manager recognizes com port. However, MAX nor Labivew do not recognize any hardware. In Configuration panel in MAX, "My System" only contains "Software". How do I repopulate the list? How do I help MAX/Labview discover hardware? Thanks!!
In order to recognize hardware, you have to installed the correct drivers. What is listed under software? For com ports, you need NI-VISA installed. For DAQ cards, you need DAQmx installed. For a GPIB controller, you need NI-488.2 installed.
