Link two GPIB PCI cards together

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to link together two GPIB PCI cards from NI that are on 2 different PC and do some communication in the question/answer style?

Data is sent using the first card, the second card receives it, sends back an answer to the first card and so on...

I am working in c#, so any source code sample would be appreciated.

It is definitiely possible to do this. Just designate one as system controller, and assign a different GPIB address to the other one. I don't have any source code though.
