Labview gives error while trying to communicate through USB GPIB B

Hi,
I am able to communicate to my devices through NI's explore GPIB. However, when I run my code in Labview on my laptop to communicate with the devices through USB, I get a 'not found' error. The vi that I'm using to communicate with the device works on my desktop which has a GPIB card. I'm pretty sure I've included all the files necessary to run the VI on my laptop. Does LabView need to know that I'm using the USB - GPIB interface?
Thanks a lot everyone,
-Sid

Sid K,
Have you installed all the drivers on your laptop? I use both the USB-GPIB and the PCI-GPIB in the lab here and have had no troubles jumping from the one to the other. You need to run the measurement and automation software to have it scan the GPIB for insturments. If this does not find your instruments I would try reinstalling it.

Hi,
I found the cause of the error. Labview assumes that the address of the GPIB device inteface is 0. So I had to change the device interface address using MAX and that fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help, Ben.
