Labview/Keithley 2001 DMM DCI/GPIB Basic Help

Hello,

I'm new to labview, and was hoping to get some general advice. I'm attempting to create a program that takes an input voltage and measures DC current using GPIB and a Keithley DMM. Simple. But, I have no programming background, and really don't even know where to begin.

I do know I'll probably have to utilize the Keith2001reset/preset vi, the DCI Config vi, and the single read vi, but I am unsure how to wire them and what else I'll need.

My main issue is understanding how to communicate with and control the multimeter. Any help would be appreciated.
