LV installation failed ..Windows-Installer doesnt work

Hi,

i will install LV2009 on a Win-XP SP3 System.

If i start the Installation there is an error after the start .... The Windows-Installer could be open or doesnt work correct.Please Kontakt the Supp and so on.

I search for help on this Site but there where only one answer i found. I should install the Win-Installer 4.5, I did it but it doesent work.

Anyone have an idea?

I had this recently.

Can't remember what the problem was (or how we solved it), but it wasn't LabVIEW-related directly.

I'll shoot off a mail to see if I can find out what the poroblem was.

Thx that would be nice,

we test also to deactivate the Virusscanner...but it doesnt help.

It was due the the version of one of the DLLs of the windows installer apperently.  I don't have any more information.

AFter setting the specific DLL back to a previous version things worked fine.

Ok thx for your time,

i called the support and we found an solution.

One way is ... copy the DvD to the HD-Space and install LV.

This doesnt work for my Problem.

The sec way was : Download an Evaversion from NI-Side and use the Licence Key from the DvD.

This works , but there you must download all other components seperatly.
