Korean language & VISA

Hello

We have a Windows-based LabView application that communicates with our system over the serial port. Communication does not work when the application runs on Korean Windows version. We believe that the problem resides within the VISA layer. Funny thing is that the ports are recignized by the program (application runs ok in all other Windows platforms)

Thank you

Dear billinares,

the issue is discussed in another forum thread. The problem is the unicode which is used in the korean operating system. I would like to ask you to check if the information given in the following thread already solve your problem. If not, please feel free to post again in this thread.
Thank you.

Best regards,
