Good day,
i'm not sure I choose the right section,
I install the Labview community edition version 2023 Q3 (32bit) 23.3f0 it install Hobbyist function in the function palette, but I'm missing some function.
I think it should be like this
When i look file explorer C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2023\vi.lib\MakerHub\LINX
everything seems to be there.
I tried many time to repair or remove reinstall hobbyist toolkit with no success
at one point I remove all the modules with NI package manager and i reinstall the labview community edition the file .iso but nothing work.
What am i doing wrong ?
Au secours 🙂

I'm not sure I have it ok, but since the vi file was there I when to tool advance edit palette set and i enter the makerhub directory and it give me this
and a lot more vi , I have i think what I need to talk to the arduino, I already download the firmware with the Hobbyist firmware tool.
If someone have a more graceful solution just let me know.

I just upgraded to 2023 Q3 and noticed the same issue. I have Q1 on another computer and it had an extra dir.mnu file in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2023\menus\Categories\Hobbyist.
I copied it over and everything is good now. I have attached a .zip file of the dir.mnu file. Just extract it and move it over to the directory above and it will restore everything.

I just did follow your instruction, I then reboot we can see the file in the picture 1 it was not there before so i added as per your instructions, but no luck it did not populate the Hobbyist menu see picture 3, it still show the toolbox alone.
My non elegant solution work for me , I think the tools for Arduino and Co. should be in Makerhub menu like picture 2 for that Labview 2023 Q3.
