I tried searching for "gpib" on the Google groups (http://groups.google.com), and most of the results I returned from the the natinst.public.gpib.general group. There were a few relevant results in other groups, but no other group seems to be dedicated to GPIB. (Please post a response if I am wrong.)
The NI NNTP server for natinst.public.gpib.general is mirrored with the web-based Developer Exchange discussion forums, but Google is not currently archiving posts from the NI NNTP server. So if you are looking for a GPIB newsgroup, you can either use this web forum, or you can connect to the NI NNTP server.
