GPIB How measurement in Maxhold with n number of trace.

Hi, I’m developing a control program for a spectrum analyzer. I would like make a maxhold measurement, but I don’t know how get the maxhold as result of 3 traces.

My question not is about how send the code, my question is how control any analyzer, for make maxhold measurements with only n numbers of traces, what parameters I need?.

1.Put the analizer in maxhold mode

2.????

3.Get the trace

Hi Freddycoal,

Without knowing the make or model of spectrum analyzer, I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer directly for information on its specific commands.  If the instrument is capable of performing a maxhold on n traces that information should be in the user manual or programming guide, if one exists.
