Hello, I have a question for you, did you add your ENET device? You can do that Start>>All Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-488.2>>Add GPIB-ENET 100 wizard. Let me know how it goes. Regards Nikhil A.
One thing to note is that if you were getting error codes back from the GPIB-ENET/100, the PWR/RDY light would be flashing with a pattern indicating the error number. See this link, which indicates how to count the error code generated by the GPIB-ENET/100. The TX light flashing indicates that the GPIB-ENET/100 is transmitting to the Ethernet network.
Normal GPIB programming errors (such as timeouts, no listeners, etc.) should not cause the PWR/RDY light to flash. These errors would be received in software if there was problems in communicating with GPIB instruments or the bus, not necessarily problems with the GPIB-ENET/100.
What problems do you see when communicating with your instruments in MAX? Are you getting any errors? Does the GPIB-ENET/100 appear under Devices and Interfaces? What GPIB instruments do you have attached to it?
