FSQ8 driver

I am having trouble with controlling a FSQ 8 with the LABVIEW drivers form the NI site. It seems that the drivers do no wait for the completion of the previos sent command e.g. peak search.  If it insert pauses between diferent blocks, my routine works. Does anyone know how this can be solved without the fixed pauses, just by wainting for the sweep to finish and then running the next command?

This is a Rohde & Schwarz driver. Did you try contacting them?

Hey Puionte!

Usually the instrument drivers work pretty well; however, you are correct a manual wait function is what you would use to control the timing of the function calls.  Even in basic visa read and write, manual wait functions are used to give devices time to read and write before making VISA function calls.

I think that setting the sweep count to 2 and poll the sweep counter you should be able to know if there has been one complete sweep already.
