Error loading Serial XON-XOFF Characters.ctl

Hello,

I have a labview program configured with VISA interface to receive serial UART communication with TIVA microcontroller. The program was working fine, until suddenly when am opening it I get this error message(below) and asks me to locate the missing file on my computer?!!

I also tried to use a previous backup version to avoid maybe unknown changes that might have caused such problem, but am getting the same error!

Any suggestions?

Hello Karim,

It looks like you are missing a file. A .ctl. Have you checked the two locations mentioned in the image? 

Is this a.ctl created by you or it is something that is part of an NI library? 

Have you try to search on your PC after this .ctl and hit Browse... and indicate where the .ctl is.

Thank you for your reply.

This .ctl files are created from the NI libraries when I imported the VISA transmission example.

Now when I open the example again on a separate window then close it and open my program it works!

Now each time I open my program again I have to open the example first then open my program.

Do not know what does this means?
