It's a very brute-force method. Like I said in my previous post, I'm actually extremely new at this just about 5 weeks old actually so do pardon the rather bad design as I'm learning on the fly to get this to completion within 3 weeks from now. I basically had only 8 weeks to finish this so I'm doing my best (yes that was the time-line given to me for my design project)
As mentioned before, the general overview is to implement a control system for a variable environmental incubator that is able to study the effects on cells in a high carbon dioxide atmosphere (ie. 10% as compared to normal of 0.03%) over a long period of time. The control system basically has to cycle between 2 environmental condition which is normal (5%CO2) to a user-set condition (ie 1%O2 and 10%CO2) for a set period of time (See attachment). There are also instruments (ie sensors O2 and CO2) to ensure the condition are met else they have to signal to solenoid valves to open/close for 3 different type of gases N2, O2 and CO2.
Hence, each cycle has 4 stages which each has its own set of conditions which has to stay seperate of course.
