Hi, I have a problem on GPIB communication. The GPIB controller is NAT9914BPD and the transceivers are DS75160A and DS75161A. I set GPIB at TALK/LISTENER mode in instrument. When I try to find it with the interactive control utility, It cannot find GPIB.

An error report: EDVR(oxeo140035).

Then I try to set 488 again:

:set 488.2

499.2 (0): sendifc

  cmpl cic atn

488.2 (0): findlstn

enter address list: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

enter limit number: 1

count: 0

8130(err cmpl cic atn)

What may be the possible problems? I am a new one on GPIB interface, Your help is appreciated very much!

Could you clarify your set up?  Are you working with a GPIB interface (ie PCI-GPIB) and connecting to a machine where you are using the NAT9914 chip?  What software are you using on either end?  Just NI-488.2?  What version?  What operating system are you working in?  Please let me know.
