Hello All,

So I came up with something I understand but still am not able to control the instrument by inputting a wavelength.  Can some one please advise, I have attached the file.

Thanks for your time

I have exactly the same problem with the same error messages. I've tried different baud rates (9600 and 11520) as well as different comm port (COM3 and COM8). Interestingly those settings worked fine when I run the windows application from ThorLabs. http://www.thorlabs.com/software_pages/PM100.cfm

I emailed ThorLabs earlier this evening. Since they're in the east coast I probably wouldn't hear till tomorrow.

BTW, I have LabView 8.5, VISA 4.2 and Windows Vista Business 32-bit.

The DLL is located in the same directory as the LabView LLB.

Hello Vicent,
On the website for that product, they asked for the VISA 3.0 to be used.
Can you try installing that on your system and testing the application?

Chris,

I have multiple devices connected and I don't want to downgrade to VISA 3.0 at the risk of breaking any other device that currently works.

I just got a sample VI to read power from ThorLabs App Eng.

Hello Vincent,
I understand your situation.
Did that sample work for you?
Can you post the Spy logs for your application
