Driver for TDS 2024 oscilloscope

I have tektronics TDS2024 oscilloscope.Can I connect it through serial port to Lab View Max.My LabView version is 7.1.What are the steps to be followed for the same. I have already downloaded the driver avalable on website but when i try to run my application it says that you have older version of labview. Suggest me what should i do.?

According to the download page, the driver supports a serial connection. You have to use the correct cable, set the com port on the scope to the settings mentioned on the Initialize VI, and select the com port in the VISA Session control.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct driver? There is a 8.0 project style, 8.0 plug & play, and a 7.0 plug and play. the 7.0 version is available at https://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E9139659CE034080020E74....
