We have a GPIB-USB-HS cable between a PC running Windows 2000 and an analytical instrument.  Which driver should we use?  

The cable is P/N 187965H-01L 

                     S/N 19A2964

Hi

The driver for the software determines the driver.

If you are only looking for the low level 488 driver the operating system determines that one.

But I warn that your operating system is not supported anymore in Windows so you better upgrade.

The pc was purchased specifically for the instrument and is only used for that purpose, so we won't need to upgrade. 

I'm not computer savvy so I don't know how to use my OS to determine/select the driver that I need.  I'm sure National Instruments has the correct one, I just don't know where/how to get it/what to ask for.
