Disable PoE on IC-3173

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to disable the PoE on IC-3173. When I plugg my camera on one of the PoE-compatible Gigabit Ethernet ports, the PoE is set on automatically but I want to supply power to my camera externally.

Thank.

Hi again,

I also would like to know if the PoE power output is always set at 15.4 W (according to the spec) or if it's a maximum and the power is set according to the device plugged on the port ?

Thank again.

Hi,

I just got my answer thank to the NI support. Right now the PoE is set automatically by the controller and it can't be disabled. The power delivered is always set at 15.4 W and can't be adapted internally.
