Hello friends!
In the company where I work, there is a machine that uses the gpib 488.2 PCI card 188513b-01 but it has some flaws.
Soon, we went behind another plate to replace and found a gpib 488.2 188513E-01L.
I wanted to know if there are any differences that make it impossible for me to use this model mentioned.
Thank you!

Hi, Gabriel!
Both 188513B-01 and 188513E-01L are releases of the same PCI-GPIB board. The difference between then is only the version. Therefore, you can use the 188513E-01L in your application.
Be aware to keep using compatible versions of NI 488.2 and NI GPIB drivers to your current operational system and LabVIEW version.

What's the difference between the 188513E-01L and the 778032-01?

The number starting with a 1 is the assembly number only, e.g. the bare PCB. The 77… and 78.. numbers are the boxed products in a card board box with software driver DVD and some paper manuals/documents. Typically you only can buy the boxed products unless you have an OEM deal and buy the PCB’s by several thousand a time.

So you're saying they're the same? The 188... number is simply the PCA assy number and the 78... number is the product orderable number?

I don’t know for a fact that these two are the same product, but this number scheme is used by NI.
As far as I can see it’s in both cases the PCI-GPIB board with the single TNT5004 integrated controller on it. So should be the same.
But being a PCI board you will be hard pressured to find recent PCs where you can still put it in. That would require some pretty old refurbished hardware or special purpose industrial PCs.
