Connection lost in agilent E5810A LAN/GPIB Gateway when running MAX

Hello,

  I m working on a test bench with Agilent, Chroma and Zimmer instruments, the VI runs perfectly for 2 months and now I lost connection with LAN every time I run MAX

I use E5810A LAN/GPIB Gateway and GPIB cables, I checked first If my Gateway is in the Network. I can see it and all instruments BUT when I opened MAX to define Alias and resource Names, It seems that nothing's there.

 Could Someone tell me the problem please?

Are you still seeing this problem? If you are trying to access the same instrument in MAX that is being used by your code, then this might be a conflict of resource access, and this would be expected behaviour. You will only be able to access an instrument from one path - either your code or MAX. However, if you are trying to access other instruments that are currently not in use, then this is not expected behaviour. Does the connection get lost every time you open MAX? I would advise reinstalling your instruments' drivers and see if this rectifies the situation.

Also, did you contact Agilent on the matter to see if they can help?
