I'm glad that fix worked.
I will check on the serial number. Chances are that if the battery is dead then the warranty has expired, but it is worth checking.

That serial number shows up as a 9111 controller, not a 9022. Though, there wasn't a purchase order listed in the system because of its age.
That serial number shows up as not under warranty, and repair is listed as $250. I tried looking up repair price for a 9022 of that age outside of warranty, but I couldn't without a matching serial number.
There may be a mix-up in the database because of a migration, but do you think you can double check the serial number by chance?

Hi Andrew,
I have double check the seriaI number, it is 144161B. I was confused by the letter "B" and number "8".
Thanks for your help.

Hi Andrew,
I am wrong again. Please disregard the previous post.
The correct serial number for the rio is 014374FA.
And also wondering what currency do you use when you tell me the price?
Best regards,
Yifeng

The default database here has access to the American and Canadian data only, I believe. If you tell me where you purchased it, I'll know where to look it up.

Hi Andrew,
We are in Australia.

Ok. The thing to do at this point is to have you call our Australia engineers. I tried accessing things here, but ran into trouble. The number is 1800 300 800 to get in touch with our Australia engineers. There, we can find the cost for repair and arrange to send it in.
I wishthe best of luck to you and your project.
