Cannot find scanner LEAF35/45 in GPIB.INI file

Trying to get an old film scanner running that use gpib. Max recognizes that a device is there but when I try to run the software it gives me the error above.

When trying to communicate with the device using MAX the inquiry times out.

I believe the resolve is to rename DEV8 to either LEAF35 or LEAF45 using what's currently called NIMAX, or for the old driver that you likely have to use to run the WinLeaf app on a Windows that supports 16 bit apps (W2000/XP) you would use "Explore GPIB".

Bring up Explore GPIB.  Scan and make sure you see the GPIB adapter (in my case GPIB0).  Right click on the adapter and select Properties.  A configuration window pops up.  On the right, you'll see "Device Template", scroll down to DEV8, select it (left click), and click on "Configure".  Change Name to LEAF35 or LEAF45.  Click OK, OK, and I assume File/Save Configuration.  Exit, and I am not sure you  have to reboot or not, but I think I had to.  On reboot, my WinLeaf was able to find the scanner.
