Bronkhorst driver for LabView 8.0

Dear all,

For my job, I have to built up a new machine. I will have to measure the gasflow, and at a critical flow, open a valve. In the side, I will measure a differance of pressure and a weight. As my background is far away of programming, it will be a great challenge 🙂

Regarding the flow, I have a Bronkhorst flowmeter, with a FlowDDE interface. Hence, I guess this VI could help me a lot : http://www.morechemistry.com/labview/driver-bronkhorst/vi_bronkhorst_01.html

The problem is when I open this VI, it state that I need at least LabView 8.2. I have the 8.0.

Does it exist a way to use this VI anyway? Or did I miss a other usable VI to import easely data from FlowDDE? ( I have got the FlowDDE 4.62)
