Basic VISA help

I've been writing programs in Labview 6.i for about a month now and feel pretty comfortable with everything as far as controlling with VIs and sub-VIs. I'm trying to learn now how to do the same with VISA sessions. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial or give some basic advice on where to begin? Thanks.

The best source to learn about VISA is in the shipping examples that come with LabVIEW. I would recommend looking at the examples for VISA, GPIB, and Serial Communication for different examples on how to use the VISA functions. If you would like some more general information, check out
