Autodetect GPIB Instrument

Is there any way to autodetect the GPIB instruments connected to my system, like autodetecting the PXI slots & cards?

I thought of posting it here, but forgot to select the appropriate board. So, it got posted in the LV board earlier.

Sorry Partha. But since he is still active in this forum, I have asked him to post his code in the other thread. Can you tell in specific what exactly you need to accomplish, so that there maybe alternate possibilities.

My customer asked me to find a way to autodetect & present in the UI the list of all GPIB devices he has connected to the system/station, like various models of scopes & multimeters of different vendors.
