Agilent 34972 EZ examples freeze DAQ

I'm playing with Labview and the Agilent 34972 to get a feel for instrument control.  I am using two of the example EZ blocks from the pallette, pictured below.  My simple vi runs fine using just one EZ, either one.  However trying both together freezes the daq.  I think I am initializing incorrectly...?  Any help is appreciated.

Found the answer here: I should have had the measurements in series.  Should I delete this thread moderators?
