Hello All,

I'am using a Agilent 6811B under Labview with a RS-232 interface.
Does anybody knows, how to force the unit to immediately !turn off! the power if a certain current limit is exceeded.
That would be a great feature to rescue units wich draw the power from this power supply. There is nothing in the user's guide. It only put's the voltage down if current level is exceeded and turn of the input after a time wich is not programmable.

You would help me to solve a big problem (every problem is big i know):-)

Hi,

I'm not familiar with this instrument, but I installed the driver to have a look at the VI's.

There i found the Output on/off vi, which, i assume, to solve your problem (see attachement).
