develop Application in labview for backnet compatible controllers

I want to communicate with a back net compatible controllers which is networked. can anyone guide me how to do the same.

does it require OPC server ? if so is there any free one available ?

Hi indianadroid, 

We have actually never walked through a baknet setup with LV that I am aware of. We can either 

1) Figure out whether it is possible on this thread so other people can see   or 

2) Find a different way to implement your system.
