How to test profibus is correctly configured?

I have profibus board installed in a PC.

the pc doesn't have labview installed. only testStand.

purpose of this PC is as test panel for running test cases in TestStand and this PC will be connected to I/O.

how possible can i test the profibus if there's no Labview installed?

Please use COMSOFT Configurator tool if you are using NI-PCI Profibus card.

If you have used the right GSD files with proper electrical wiring, once you deploy the configured bus,you should get all okay(green) status. Any error in device GSD file or electrical connection will be indicated in red. 

Even you can Set\Reset selected bits individually.

ok sorry...actually ALL Led of the profibus card are ON.

at the moment the connection is like this:

controller (sim as the machine) -> CAN -> getaway -> PC (with profibus card installed)

where can i get the gsd file?

The vendor of your device should provide you the GSD file. Each device supporting profibus usually come with a GSD file.
