Upgrading project from LV2022 to LV24

Hi All,

I have a project with a pi connected to a couple of process controllers over RS485. The LabVIEW application that runs on the pi polls the controllers process variable, logs to a database and provides a web service for pulling data from the pi over the web. It's been running fine (mostly) for over a year, but for some reason is now offline. Since deploying, I no longer have LabVIEW 2022 installed, and have 2024Q3 instead. When I tried opening the project, initially I could see the target in the project, but could not connect to it, and some dependencies were missing. I installed the hobbyist toolkit for 2024, and now I get a warning that says:

LabVIEW currently cannot load the selected item. The required module, driver or plug-in either is not installed or has an expired license. Ask the creator of the item or its project what software it requires. Contact NI for help identifying the software.

I also notice that the project is being maintained by LabVIEW in 22.3 ([22.3] displayed next to the project name in the project explorer), but any attempt to uprate the project to save in the current version just kills LabVIEW to desktop.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Paul
