What need I install to control a digitizer via a VI

Solved!
Go to solution

I've a PXI-5122 card in a PXIe-1071 chasis connected with the PC with LabVIEW2014 installed . And it can work under the front pannel of NI-SCOPE. Now I'd like to sample signals and save to files repeatly. But I cann't find the example VI codes for SCOPE or digitizers, and any example codes downloaded from internet cannot be run as there are always some subVI missed.

Is there anything more than LabView and NI-SCOPE needed?

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Qubit,

What version of NI-SCOPE did you install?

For LabVIEW 2014 support, you need version 14.0 or newer.

http://www.ni.com/download/ni-scope-14.0/4826/en/

You can find examples under the Start Menu

All apps->National Instruments->NI-SCOPE LabVIEW 2014 (32-bit) Examples

which links to

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2014\examples\instr\niScope

on a default install of 64-bit Windows.

balexand,

thanks.

Both labview 2013 and 2014 were installed. Perhaps there is some conflict or mislink of the files between two versions. I'll uninstall all and reinstall 2014.
