hi,
thanks for reply to my last message..now i have small confusion with selecting a scope..
If i take rising time of a CAN signal is 1000 kBaud: Is a sampling rate of 1.25GS/s enough or should i take 2.5GS/s?
Bandwidth of 100MHz sufficient or do i need 300MHz?

Hi,
I assume you want to acquire the shape (quality) of your CAN signal. The baudrate is connected to data (tokens) and there is just a indirect reference to time. Which rise time do you expect (us, ns) and how many samples do you need for each edge? A band width of 0 ... 100MHz is enough, because I think for your measurement level is more important than frequency.
Best regards
