How I CAN get the signal changing with the time using the NI 5102

Dear my friends;

I want to use the NI 5102 to capture the sound signal changing with the time. I hope the signal captured can be dispalyed in waveform in the form of amplitude-time. When I use the function of NI-SCOPE in Labview 7.1 to develop the interface, I can not let the signal change with a time. the signal just show in a short period. it looks like it just shows in the relative time but not absolute time.

Any suggestion is deeply appreciated

Hi yangshanglu,

In your LabVIEW VI, are you displaying the waveform on a graph or on a chart?  A chart will put the real time on the x-axis, whereas a graph will put the relative time.

To put a Waveform Chart on your Front Panel in LabVIEW 7.1, right-click and select Controls » All Controls » Graph » Waveform Chart.  A Waveform chart should show the absolute time.

I hope this helps!
