I am search for for DAQ with specific characteristics and will be happy for help.
I want read voltage from photo-diode in specific detection windows, while the needed data is the average voltage along the window time. Every detection window is ~250ns length, and the distance between windows is changed from 5us to a few ms. The timing control of the detection windows is by external TTL pulses.
Should I need high sampling rate for my requirements? 4 MS/s is enough? I can use lower or need higher? In our lab we have NI6351 with sample rate of 1.25 MS/s - can I use it or need faster one?
Additional requirement for the DAQ is high amplitude resolution (>16 bit), and optional for working with differentiation voltage range.
I will be happy for answer to my basic questions, and also for recommended models.
