MAX doesnt recognise CFP1808

I have 3 CFP1808 units in a network.

2 are recognised by MAX but the 3rd isnt.

I have upgraded to the latest fieldpoint (5.0.1) and MAX (4.1.0.3001) but no change.

I have tried pushing the reset button, cycling power etc. The network cable is OK as I have swopped network cables around etc.

The RED status led is flashing which I presume it means it is unconfigured (which is correct)

All the individual modules indicate that they have power and are ready. One other clue is that although the TC inputs on the 4 TC120's I have are not connected the red leds indicating an open connection are NOT illuminated which is unexpected.

Is it likely I have a failed cfp1808. It has worked in the past but about 3 months ago.

Hi Andy,

Please can you check the output of the console using a straight-through serial cable form the cFP-1808 to a PC running hyper terminal.

You can get a more detailed procedure in the cFP-1808 manual on page 18.

This will tell you where any error is occurring.
Once you have some data in hyper terminal please can you take a screenshot and post it to this forum post, or get post the text from hyper terminal.
