Hello! I am an new FieldPoint user, and I have a question: can I control external devices using the FP-1000 modules's RS-485 output? I would like to communicate with a variable speed drive that uses the Modbus protocol.

It is possible to use the RS-485 repeater port on the FP-1000 to control non-FieldPoint devices.
