Delphi 7 FieldPoint communication

Hi everybody!

I'm new in the NI world, so my request could be quite silly..

I've an old Delphi 7 program, which I use to interface with many instruments in my lab (all of them with proprietary serial interfaces).

Now, I'm trying to add to this software also the capability to dialogue with some NI FieldPoint modules (via the Ethernet module FP1601, connected together with other measuring modules i.e. FP-TB-1 and FP-TB-3).

Do you know an easy way to allow my program to set and read the measurements of these NI instruments?

Of course, I cannot use LabView or other similar softwares..

What argument are you talking about?

You can research to see how you can use a C program to interface with the modules.  I imagine Delphi would use a similar method, perhaps using DLL calls.
